Buying a single Edition 30 caliper
« on: November 17, 2015, 12:50:00 pm »
Hi guys

Just had my car serviced and the pre cat removed and when I collected it they told me the drivers side caliper is sticking causing the pad to wear right down..

I am now after a new caliper asap... Anyone know where best to just get the one caliper... Most sellers on ebay are selling them as a pair, but I just need the one.

I guess I could buy a pair anyway, but time of year and rather not pay more than needed and if I was getting a pair I would probably just upgrade to TTRS ones.

Cheers!

I got one from my local motor factor, it was a refurbed one and exchange price was something like £70 and came painted fresly in red, so ask about bound to be one reasonably priced.

£100 delivered for both front ones refurbished or £130 for one brand new one....

Which should I go for bearing in mind the two refurbed won't have any warranty with them

The cheapest place I found was eurocarparts when I had this problem, I rang round all the parts specialists, was about £70 came in red and I got money back when I returned my old one :happy2:

This is the time of year they like to seize up though with all the road salt and grime, so I would replace in pairs personally but it's up to you!
