Changing both front wings...
« on: November 19, 2015, 11:09:54 am »
So the nsf wing is starting to bubble and the osf wing that is sound someone has put a dent in it for me (not too bad but bad enough) - couldn't be the bubbling wing could it...

Anyway, 2 x Platinum Plus replacements ordered and getting them sprayed with Diamond Black Magic LC9Z so I can swap them out.

Anyone swapped their wings themselves? - How hard was it? - I know I have to take the front bumper, lights, linings and bottom tray out.  Does everything line back up relatively easy?

Thanks.

The lights don't have to come off, just the front bumper, bottom and wheel arch liner :happy2:

Once the bumper is off, its actually relatively simple. I had two screws under the arch liner that were covered in seam sealer or something that were abit of a pain to remove but they eventually came free.

Also make sure you have some torx allen keys or something similar as there is a screw behind the door which can be a pain to remove if you don't have the correct tools!
