steering wheel - hairline scratch
« on: December 17, 2015, 06:15:12 pm »
Been silly and now theres a scratch on the top part of the leather steering wheel, which is the size of the blade on the gti car key :fighting:

Rang a few retrim places who want to replace the whole steering wheel leather for £130. The rest of the leather is in ok condition so im thinking this can be repaired,  with some filler and then a coat of dye or paint for a satin finish.

Anyone have any advice and know of anyone in and around London who could repair this?

Thanks.

Sometimes it's cheaper to source a wheel off ebay or there's a £12 leather repair kit available.
