With the steering wheel straight the ball joints don't rub, it's just when you turn the steering wheel 90-120ยบ at higher speeds. I noticed it doing small roundabouts at +50 km/h. It's also more noticeable with the windows open.

After a lot of trying I ended up removing them and returned to stock ball joints. Consider that before cutting the outer part of your SuperPro ball joints to try to make them not rub... :sad1:

I've been  these last couple of weeks about :
Instaling RS4 injectors and an Integrated Engineering intake manifold
Is there somebody who has this mounted?

My current setup but exhaust not mounted yet :

BCS 3" Powervalve
THS Intercooler with CTS Turbo piping
Loba hpfp
CTS air intake

I think with those mods 300+ bhp is possible after a dyno.
Now I'm considering of buying the intake manifold and injectors. Is this a plus or not necessary.
Some thoughts of you guys :happy2:
Thanks

Don't get the IE intake manifold or the RS4 injectors. You'd only need the RS4 injectors for +400 BHP.

With your current setup and 99 RON petrol you can easily get +350 BHP.

Yes, completely. With WMI you can get 400 BHP with your K04 turbo and injectors. If your LPFP doesn't pump enough fuel you might need to upgrade it but that's it. Don't need to spend so much money on the IE intake manifold.

@ spwd thanks  :happy2: gives me pleasure to keep going

@Shoduchi : you're right but it is a very well designed & maschined piece!
It'll still be in the back of my mind :rolleye:

Also forgot to mention yesterday that I've received the
Superpro KIT5238RK rear control arm & trailing arm bush kit.

It's pretty but from what I've read on Facebook it doesn't flow properly. Just works well with IE remaps. Niki Gower from R-Tech had a car with one fitted and tested it. It needed some interior adjustments to improve air flow, so not that good for the price. If you want a bigger intake manifold you can consider one from RPC Motorsport: https://www.facebook.com/rpcmotorsport/posts/894297794033941.

Thanks buddy :happy2:
This is the kind of info that I needed! I coulden't find anything about it!
Only a couple of youtube vids and the info on IE's site.  Now I know! :happy2:
Also thanks for the info about RPC Motorsport  :notworthy:
It looks like there is a lot to improve on the intake. So no IE, HPA or other intakes for now.
Found RS4 injectors in the states and will keep them for now. I won't mount them yet.
I'll go for the upgrade with the parts I got and let the intake for now.

You'd benefit more of the intake manifold and RS4 injectors if you were aiming for +400 BHP and fitting a bigger turbo or a K04 hybrid at least. I wouldn't go higher than 420 BHP with the stock internals. If you say what is the power that you're looking for, we can try to help you with the parts needed.

That's the thing! I only wanted a small gain on power! 300bhp was the target :drinking:
I think with the parts I've bought I'm well over my target!
But that's the problem!! Once I started I couldn't stop or help myself :rolleye:
I was out off vw's the last 10 years. Once I bought the ED30, the virus came back!! :jumping:
It is such a great car! And a lot of potential to improve on the engine! I'm not saying it's under powered
but you can play with it like Lego  :signLOL: This is why I love it so much and I think we all do here :drinking:
This is just the engine and suspension which I started on, the interior is also to be modified. But only minor things like switches, led lamps and a touch of carbon.
This I why I love this forum! Changing idea's and receiving input of other enthousiasts! :congrats: :congrats:
