Screeching noise

Thanks for looking at my post I had my car mapped at amd I have stage one and dsg service and dsg mapped also a dv+ and milltek exhaust system I had this done in November after a month I started getting a screeching noise like a fan belt it's now got a lot worse and louder so much so people are looking round when I pass them it only happens in high reeves like 1st 2nd and only after acceleration not when accelerating it even does it when idle and rev up to 3000 revs and let go it starts it also only does it after 5mins of driving not when cold I'm really worried it's the dsg any help please

I'm taking it back to amd as it was fine before the upgrades iv had fan belt etc checked and when it does it its really  hard to find where it's coming from but think it's strange it don't do it when accelerating but after you Rev and not in higher gears it also Carey's on for a good 10-15 seconds as well

No it's nothing like that but thanks for you helpful reply .I really don't think its a belt as it's not continuos and don't sound anything like this

When the alternator coupling starts failing (normally after 60K) it makes a noise within the driving pattern you described.

touch wood haven't had one go on me so far as the tt one lasted 4 1/2 years before the regulator packed up at 137k lol but so have a spare pulley laying around just in case  :happy2:
