Yeah it's very odd. Just to clarify, that isn't my car. But it's a 3 door just like mine, with the exact same problem.

I figured it wasn't yours Nasir. it's odd for something like a 27k car to have misaligned panels but I've seen new ford mondeos with bumpers ill aligned from the factory but this is a German machine and I wouldn't have expected it from them.

Back of mine is similar but even on both sides. The inner and outer lights don't quite line up and the boot basically looks like it isn't quite shut all the way but never had any issues with water getting in as far as I know so I've just forgotten about it.

Maybe the boot latch needs adjusting?.
