Returning a part
« on: February 01, 2016, 11:48:45 am »
So, had a.problem with my ABS. Garage A replaced hub which fixes part of my problem. Garage A replaces with a eurocarts hub. Part of problem still there, so take it to more competent Garage B who fix problem by fitting a genuine part.

Is there anyway I can get some money back from the part supplied by garage a with the eurocarparts hub? Can I.go direct to eurocarparts with the problem hub?

If you have the receipt for the hub then take it back as a faulty part for a full refund.  :happy2:

I have the garage receipt? Ask them for the part receipt? What happens if they dont have it?

It's the part receipt that you need mate. Eurocarparts will need that to authorise a refund and prove where it came from.

ask garage A for a refund then they can go get it back from ECP themselves.  if they didnt fix the problem you shouldnt be expected to have to pay for it.

Ok I will go to garage A and ask for a refund. But only for the part though right? Not for the work as well as it wasnt their fault the hub was faulty
