Vagcom features blanked out

Can anyone explain to me why on my vagcom 'advanced measuring blocks' is greyed out? Can't seem to find any info online. Trying to use on an 06 BWA engine gti.

Someone will ask this! Is your cable genuine and what version of vcds are you using?

Try shut down and reboot the laptop again as I get weird stuff happening when I really need it and then it starts working the next day   :stupid: dodgy leads that do work but not genuine :signLOL:
