Recommendations for Monza Refurb?
« on: March 04, 2016, 04:29:29 pm »
Don't mind posting within the UK for a proper finish as I know most places in Scotland do this once you take them to them anyway. Looking for them to be re-diamond cut, and the inserts done gloss black like the Monza 2, wheels are 18".

Has anyone has this done, and what should I expect to pay per wheel?

Cheers

I've had mine done three times! Bloody things!

First time I had an anthracite gloss finish, as per the wheels in my profile pic. They were amazing and £75 a corner. Most recently I've gone for satin black at £78 a corner. £70-80 seems to be the going rate for a good standard of work and decent finish. Beware of cheap refurbs. I've been done, hence why I didn't mention the second set I had done

Where are you located?

Based in Glasgow mate, just I know almost everywhere up here takes them in, the. Send them down south to be down, just wondering if I can cut out the middle man.

I've owned Monzas before and MTM Bimotto, wheels shouldn't corrode within a year unless you don't give a f*ck about your car, or it's a shot refurb that's been done.

I got mine done in Cramlington (it's a fair distance from Glasgow!) for £90 a wheel. I was pretty chuffed about that! Came out really nice too.
