ok thanks everyone

still not really any wiser how much an RCD 510 non DAB would cost versus the equivalent DAB version both versions UK sourced

The chinese ones seem to be between £100 and £150 on EBAY but want to steer clear of those. I also apreciate I will need to invest in a DAB aerial bit also for about £20

Having bought a UK dab unit and installed an aerial under the centre dash vent I would steer clear of dab. Rubbish reception where I am and about 5 rubbish stations only. Total waste of time.

hi there, ive got a 2007 golf tdi and wanting to upgrade my unit to RCD510 with DAB. ive been reading in many forums about battery draining issue? will this apply to my golf?? if so whats the easiest fix? much appreciated
