Cam chain

If I buy myself a new cam chain and tensionerl is there anybody on here that will be able to do fit it for me this weekend for a bit of cash?

It's a 5 hour job for someone competent with the spanners, so a 'bit of cash' would need to reflect that.

Took 25mins to make a brew, stare at the engine for a bit, then take the engine cover off  :smiley:

Got a greens of mine to do mine for 120 quid for belt and chain all I'm going to say Is order up the rings for the cam shaft casing as in didn't and the cars been sitting in a garage for a week -.-

I think he might mean the three rings that are on the cam cover shaft bit that inserts into the adjuster. I think if the cover doesnt come off square they can break

I meant to check, they arent meant to be whole rings are they? Supposed to have a little break in them right? @doylebros
