How do I find out what's in my ECU
« on: April 16, 2016, 06:56:28 pm »
I was told by a previous owner of my car that before he bought it, it had been stage 2 but then returned to standard.

Had it checked today and it is believed that it has Revo software in because there is no read write capability

Do Revo keep records of the cars they tune and could tell me if its supposedly standard (but without read write, as if thats not annoying) or if its stage 1.

To be honest, I'd be disappointed if its stage 1 at the moment.

The only mod at the moment is the filter

On Revo Technik web site they have a contact form. You can check with them on this as they do keep a record. I did it and they replied the next day.

I was told by a previous owner of my car that before he bought it, it had been stage 2 but then returned to standard.

Unless someone went to the trouble of reflashing the stock ecu map to overwrite the revo coding, I would have thought that the revo map coding is still installed but it's turned to revo standard mode . This mode runs the oem parameters.

If you know someone with a revo sps switch and the supporting revo software laptop program then you can check this out yourself.

As above, find someone with an SPS, or just go to a Revo dealer and ask them to adjust the settings on your Revo map (they will charge for this)

If you don't have a receipt for the map, they won't re-flash it on to the car for you
