Genuine Pescaras
« on: April 17, 2016, 07:18:40 am »
Hi Chaps,

Looking for a bit of quick help.

I am due to purchase some Pescaras this morning but wanted to check how I know they are genuine.

I have read the spec should be 7.5J and ET51 and also there should be a marking on one of the spokes on each wheel. I also understand the Rep ones had Motorsport written on the centre (not sure this i defo true).

I have pic's of the wheels but bi blurry when Zoom in so cannot tell if there is a stamp or not.

Cheers for help as they are stated as OEM Pescaras but do not want the awkward moment of questioning if they are OEM when turn up

On further searching and looking at some more genuine pescara's it seems they do not have the stamp on one of the spokes like some of the BBS ones.

Is this correct?

Think that is true. The Audi version have the bbs stamped on the spokes.

This is from my detail thread:

No stamps at all when looking from the outside. Only BBS stamps on the inside face. If you zoom in on my pics, you might be able to make out the stamp/part numbers?

Hope this helps
Rich

EDIT: some more close ups on the stamps:

The stamps are always on the inside face of the spokes, AFAIK. I hope yours are all genuine BBS.
