Rear pad removal
« on: May 03, 2016, 12:12:12 am »
Hi all,

Got an annoying squeak coming from my rear brakes. I want to remove my rear pads to insert a shim behind them to see if this helps?

Is there a knack to removing them or is it pretty straight forward?

Cheers

I would spend a little more and get a quality wind back tool. Snapped one myself and a friend also snapped some doing my rear brakes in the past.

I've got a laser brand one but they all do the same job that's for sure and bloody cheap now.

Oh and if giving the brakes a going over is it worth using something like this on the seals and work the piston in and out?
