Boost pipe upgrade for Edition 30

What do you guys do about switching from the O-ring / clip connections on your boost pipes to hose clamp style?

Have seen some people modify the standard or upgraded pipe, they cut of the bayonette fitting and weld on a stand pipe connection. See here for example:

Nice one!  I did have that in mind as a cheap mod onto the standard discharge pipe, but I can't weld ally!  I'd need something plug & play for an easy life!
