MK5 GTI, Manchester
« on: May 20, 2016, 10:56:11 am »
I've been after one of these since they came out and I was driving around in MK2 GTIs. I've been looking on and off for a few months and this low mileage one popped up so I went for it.

I'm more into my aircooled stuff these days, but still plan to do a few bits on this.

Thanks,

I've been hovering around for a while reading up on what to look out for.

I've a few little jobs planned over the next couple of weeks (Cam follower, diverter valve, full service & thermostats). I'll probably knock the pre cat out at the same time. I'm currently rebuilding the engine on my recently imported camper at the moment, so this may have to be patient.
