Doesn't seem to be any fluid coming out of the clutch bleed nipple but the resivour is full

What through the bleed nipple on the gear box?.

Keep pumping it will come out.

My guess is you are not bleeding the clutch correctly.

Educate me please!

Resivour cap off , vacuum on bleed nipple , turn on suction ,crack open nipple keeping res full , close nipple before removng vacuum

I thought you were supposed to do it by pumping the clutch pedal?

I think the problem is I assumed the fluid level should be where the seam is on the resivour, I couldn't see a level indicator so iv let the fluid drop to near the bottom of the yellow strainer, keeping the fluid level at the top it so I think letting it drop has passed the clutch pick up , I could be wrong but hey ho, sorted now

You can do it without pumping the pedal as ive done but it wasn't on a golf.

I ran the reservoir low when it had the tt not realising where the top was like you but in all honestly it need to be topped to the top so you don't run low.

I know VW Audi group are fools for this :stupid: design.
