Snapped bonnet release handle MK5 golf

Snapped the bonnet release on my Gti. Handle is just flapping so isn't connected to the wire that's behind it.. How do I get this fixed?

If it's the handle it's a bit of a ball ache because I believe you will need to replace the cable that goes from the handle to the engine bay.
