FP58 AEW Grey Mk5 Gti

Does anybody know anything about this car as its on sale in Autotrader and I am considering trading in my 05 for it. Its had a lot done to it and is running stage 2+rtech map. Its £8890 with 48,000 miles on it. Any info appreciated. Do you think this is a good price. Cheers

Other than the obvious remap (and the things associated with it) its just a poverty spec GTi...

17" Alloys, no leather, no multifunction steering wheel, no highline, no reverse sensors, halogen headlights, rubbish RCD300 headunit ect

Only you can decide if its worth it. If its the extra power that appeals then go for it, personally I'd spend the £££ and see what you can do with your 05 plate - Fit a BCS system, stage 1 remap ect  :thinking:  It won't cost the best part of £9k!!!

Defo sounds over priced. That's near ed30 money!

Get a cheaper one and do the mods yourself  :happy2:

Cheers for the advice. I did buy my golf to enjoy and modify slowly as I got it at a good price and although its done 77000miles it purrs like a kitten. I suppose It is alot of money for a pretty standard gti. I just saw the performance mods and the fact its an 08 plate.
