Evening folks!

So I've changed the standard gti wheel for a MFSW and as a result of the battery being off, to change the airbag loom, I've got a flashing TPMS, and I haven't been able to clear it.  I've got vcds and it isn't throwing up a fault code.  I suspect it's something to do with coding.

I believe this is done through the ABS  block 3, but not too sure what to do... I've tried coding with 40168, and then going to basic settings and choosing tyre pressure reset, but hasn't done anything.

Looking at measuring block I can see the TPMS is 'not available' and when I then press and hold the button in front of the gear stick this changes to 'available', with the light on the dash going solid, but will go straight back to flashing when I release this button..

Any ideas folks.. I'm sure someone will shed some light on this....

Copied from rosstech:

Pressure Monitoring System Reset
This procedure will NOT apply unless the vehicle has ABS based Tire Pressure Monitoring (PR-7K1/7K6) installed!
Prerequisites:
Ignition ON

[Select]
[03 - Brake Electronics]
[Basic Settings - 04]
Group 042
[Go!]
Activate the Basic Setting.
[ON/OFF/Next]
[Done, Go Back]
[Close Controller, Go Back - 06]

The Tire Pressure Monitoring Lamp (K220) should blink.
Now check the Tire Pressure and correct it if necessary.
Press and Hold the Tire Pressure Monitoring Button (E492) AND the ASR/ESP Button (E256) for 2 Seconds.
A short Tone should sound after pressing/holding these buttons for 2 Seconds and the blinking should change to a permanent lit Tire Pressure Monitoring Lamp (K220).
The Reset is now done and as soon as you let the buttons go the Tire Pressure Monitoring Lamp (K220) should go OFF.
