And whats the deal with those H7R bulbs? I know nothing about HIDs but its all I seem to read about lately :laugh:

6 o clock mod is the earthing strip being on the opposite side of where it's supposed to be, so you have to dremmel the plastic on the opposite side of where the bulb sits in so your bulb sits 180 degress the other side. If that makes sense lol.  Ive never done it on the 2 cars ive had with xenons.

From what I've read it's to do with the mixed beam pattern and not kicking to the left for UK spec. I didn't bother with it as my beam pattern looks level up against the car in front and level to the no plate height although can adjust the height.  :smiley:

I'm just ordering my side lights and indicators and wondering which is which.  I did see the answer somewhere here but can't find it again now! Is h5w the indicators and h21w side lights?

Anyone got a link to the correct 55w HID kit? There's so many I'm pretty clueless on which one is correct for the MK5 Golf tbh.
