Better brakes 16in wheels
« on: July 11, 2016, 11:53:47 am »
Guys i am looking for info on better brakes but instead of the usual Porsche brakes etc I want them to fit under a 16inch standard GTTDI Imola i think it is. Suggestions please apart from get bigger wheels :signLOL:

Model year 2006 so think its a 2.0 TDI Sport rather than a GTTDI if there is any difference

312 GTI setup will be just about as big as you can go I should imagine.

Surely there are some really great pads/discs that can be bought to improve stock? :driver:

I am just looking for opinions on options based on experience if poss. I know ppl normally want a proper setup, but I dont want to break the bank going down the bigger wheels route. The car has pretty new factory discs and pads but you do have to push them a fair bit to pull them up. I thought that standard 2ndhand GTI brakes may fit and if there is any difference for example
