Twenty six thousand, seven hundred and sixty three pounds
« on: July 15, 2016, 11:23:27 pm »
The paintwork looks fairly sh*t, it would drink liquids like George Best and one minor mechanical failure could force a re-mortgage.

...But I still want it

(I forgot these were nicely under £30k now )

My best mate has an Avant one of these..tiz a proper Jet Fighter in a straight line.
But he also has his own pump at the Shell garage as he's there so often..
It does like to drink.

Circa 700hp with a map aren't they?  Bro's mate has one, the way it gathers speed should be illegal ;)  But for that money I'd be looking at the F10 M5.

The Millennium Fulcan of 4 door family cars. Can imagine when these go wrong you'll need to sell both kidneys to fund the repairs.

Get the Avant, they look way better. (Bit pricey but still  :jumpmove:)

Or.....

The avant does look better, you're not wrong - which is why I'd want the Sedan as they're less common in that form, looks like an A6 ultra with a debadge all round which is what I like about it   Real Q car for most non-enthusiasts.

Just the fact it's a V10-TT for M235i money is what makes me giddy about them

Yep, 700hp is achievable with just a remap. I was lucky enough to have a passenger ride in this 900hp machine at an RS246 forum meetup - uprated turbos, intercooler, custom map and a lot more to achieve that.

It's an odd sensation; like being in the first class lounge of a NASA space rocket. It was mind bendingly fast. It is also very very heavy. Look at the size of the ceramic brakes needed to stop the thing!

In my mind, it's a great car but a bit too big, too heavy, not as much fun as an RS4, dare I say a bit boring to look at, and more expensive to buy and maintain.

Get yourself a B7 RS4

For that price I'd personally go for a mint RS4 with bucket seats, sunroof the lot

Those brakes......!

There was a lime green Lambo lp700 (I think) at Statller the other day, possibly the same front setup?

Huge.

Good man.

You'd have a few grand left over too.

RS4's are awesome- but I'm a bit biased!
