Silencer/Resonator Bypass Switch
« on: August 04, 2016, 10:36:32 am »
Has anyone heard or have a exhaust system similar to the BCS Powervalve system which bypasses the silencer/resonator at a flick of a switch, I was looking to get something like this done on my car but I'd rather it be a switch and no boost controlled. Anyone know where something like this can be done and how hard would it be?

Thanks

Yeah they have a few videos on youtube.

You can actually buy the pipe with the bypass of ebay for like 100quid. just need to get it welded into your exhaust system

Did you get any further with this? A friend has a bypass valve fitted to his 911 and it runs wirelessly off a small key fob, tempted to do the same rather than fit an aftermarket exhaust and have the extra volume constantly.

I doubt it do this tbh, my exhuast is loud enough and Ive passed the age of having all that attention.

Once you weld it in, I think the ones on Ebay come with a on off switch to bypass the valve.

I gave up to be honest. I am still young so not as concerned about the noise but probably in about 10 years time I might be.
