Air filter location
« on: August 29, 2016, 12:00:55 pm »
I have just looked under the bonnet to find the air intake from the bonnet, that attached via a flexi pipe has come unattached to the main pipe that goes round the back of the engine.  Where is the air filter on these?  I am really struggling to get this reattached, and think the air filter is after this pipe so would be okay driving until  I can get it sorted but I can't find the filter!

It's a pirelli edition.

ETA: Under the engine cover! Found it.  So the air is getting filtered, if it is a little warm!

This is my new nemisis...

Cannot get it back on.  I've got the pipe on without it and that will have to do right now... i don't have the right tools for these horrible clips.

They are a PITA to get on and off that's why I swapped the one down the back of the engine with a jubilee clip

I've just put an intake on and had to swap over to a jubilee clip for the one behind the engine aswell. Pain to get to.
