Insurance Renewal Ireland - Suggestions Please
« on: September 29, 2016, 10:39:56 am »
Anyone have any suggestions for insurance companies in Ireland?

I have 4 years NCB, no points or claims, full licence and my insurance has risen steadily every single year.

This year I'm quoted €1,300 from liberty which are the cheapest only because I'm with them 2 years prior.

What kills me is that a friend with 9 penalty points, 2 claims and 1 year less driving experience than me driving a 2006 2L jag is only paying €700

Why do they hate the GTI?

Suggestions please!

I had to get insurance a couple weeks ago, all coming in around €1200 - €1400, up from 700 last year. I got an online quote from 123.ie for 630 so went with that straight away  :jumping:

I'm at 4 years NCB.

I changed all of my other parameters such as job, address etc. and it was marginal (like €20) so that extra year or two might be the real difference.
