Hi guys. I hope this is in the right place or not against the rules.
I have had the battery disconnected from my gti for a while and usually I can reset the steering angle sensor light from the full lock sequence but it seems I'm unable to do that now.
Looking online and through the forums it looks like I need to do a basic settings test from vcds?
If someone in essex near or in Harlow wouldn't mind coming to Harlow then I'd forever appreciate it! I'd cover fuel costs if need be.
If it saves me a trip to vw then that would be great.
