ipod question
« on: October 18, 2016, 06:14:05 pm »
hi, have tried searching but no luck,  have a rcd300 fitted in my edition 30, does the job for me but although I have bluetoothed my ipod to it can't get the headunit to scroll through the songs , is it not possible to do this on this headunit, can't be going in the glovebox everytime I want scroll through the songs

if it's not possible can anyone recommend an oem headunit that allows me to scroll songs when an ipod is connected,  don't really want to pay rns510 money, thanks for looking

From advice off here, I've set up 5 playlists which then show up as 'discs' when the Ipod is selected.
Disc 1-5 on headunit is then playlist 1-5.
The 6th disc just plays all tracks on Ipod in order, although I think if you press the mix button it just plays random tracks.
Hope this helps.

You can't transfer anything onto the headunit.
Will only show as a cd / track number

Edit
*To select the Ipod you need to press the CD button twice quickly, this will then 'load' the playlists....
