Wing Mirror Mod on Red Edition30

So as you know, have spent a few bob on Greenouses old Black Huffs and wanted to de-carbonise my wing mirrors as they have always been a bone of contention.

So thanks to Mr RedRobin for supplying me a spare pair of covers to have this done. Looks far better then before imo.Had my local Spray shop respray them Gloss black.

Red with Black contrast goes very well imo.

The high gloss black wing mirrors really work well with the wheels and window surrounds. It's surprising what big difference a small mod makes. Strange for me to look at those casings and think they were mine.

Steve, if you did your door handles black (which I'm not suggesting you should btw!  ) your car would be the exact opposite to the new Superchips MK6 demo GTI! 

They have wrapped a red GTI in Matte black vinyl and left the door mirrors, front splitter and door handles red. They also have black wheels with a red lip. Can't think where they got the inspiration from for that!!

Agree with you Dave, id rather mine look different to the rest, and have its own look. She looks better in the flesh, and looking foward to some sunnier days to get some better Pics.
