Anyone changed their DSG oil - DIY

Thanks pal yeah but shame I had to nut and bolt it as the OEM bolt wouldn't go through :@ someone on here stiffed me over by the looks of it and not impressed at all.

I filled my diesel golf from the top method, when i drained it out only 4.5 litres or so had come out, it took me a while to fill it from the top and ended up spilling lots of it everywhere tbh, but my gearbox  seems fine. Guess either way is fine, just upto you and how much paitence you have i guess

Is there also a separate 'bath' in these gearboxes for standard gear oil or does the DSG fluid do everything, e.g. lubricate actual gears as well as the clutch packs?

Reason I ask is that the AYC on Evo's (my last car) has separate baths for ATF and gear oil and i'm wondering if this is something similar.

Believe it does everything. Never heard about any other oil needing to go in

Just one oil. About 6L is needed but shouldn't use all of it.
