Aircon Regas- Who to go to?
« on: November 12, 2016, 08:35:24 pm »
Hi everyone.

Had some damage to an aircon pipe and lost the gas and oil in the system. Replaced the pipe but need to reoil and regas.

Im in South East london/Kent

ATS are £45 and Kwikfit £49 but not needed to regas before, so any suggestions of where to go, experiences, recommendations and prices would be appreciated!

Thanks and happy weekend :)

Most big places are around the same prices. Try and look for a deal where they clean it out too with anti bac.

I went kwik fit and they did it fine as it's not a hard job.

Would you honestly trust Kwikfit NOT to screw it up?

Yes.... simply as all they need to do is connect two pipes to the car and then press 'start' on their fancy machine and it does the rest. Had mine done at kwik fit, albeit only as a mate of mine works there so it didn't cost a lot

Wouldn't even trust them to replace a wiper blade let alone recharge Aircon!

keep an eye out on group on , they often have re gassing vouchers etc for about 30 quid. i think ats and kwik fit can vary but if they find a leak they dont normally charge (well didnt with me any way ).
