Just be aware that if you need to move (push) the car before you've finished, opening the drivers door runs the main fuel pump for a second!  (I found this out when I dropped/lost the banjo bolt and had to push the car out of the way to get my other car out)

Really?  Never had that with mine.   I just relieve the pressure with the Schrader valve, then very very slowly undo the banjo until the pressure all hisses away.  Sorted.  Never get more than a dribble onto a cloth.  Still, the car is 10 years old now, and old age affects the way it all spurts out I guess

If you dont disconnect your battery then do not open your drivers door as it primes the fuel system

You may have the strader valve on yours so release all the excess from that before starting and do not smoke !!!

Yeah just checked and I've got the schraeder valve, wish I hadn't got the banjo bolt though, hopefully I can get in with a 3/8 drive socket and some bodging, are they normally stupidly tight or ?

Not usually excessively tight, just make sure you've got the triple square bit firmly located in the bolt before you start trying to undo it as the head is quite shallow. When reinstalling be careful not to cross thread it as the thread is quite fine.  :happy2:
