Great work so far dude! Makes me miss my MK5

Have you replaced the grab handle on the drivers side yet? If not dont waste your time with ebay etc, just go straight to VW. The replacement part is around £14 direct from them. Thats what I did and then got a set of chrome switches from ebay for about £30. If you have a look at my old thread there are photos in there.

Keep up the good work  :happy2:

Glad you moved from the GTI?

All the experts seem to think the R isnt worth the extra - cant say I agree

Cars looking nice. Wheels completely change the look.
Are you going to do anything with the brakes?
I'm on the verge of buying a cat back system but am undecided to go res or non res.
When you bought the non res and found out it was too dronie on the overrun did you buy the extra silence separately? I'm again not sure to go for a nige BCS or scorpion

Mike.

Ck's look awesome!  Love the look of your car,  was looking at the scorpion system but was unsure about res or non-res as I couldn't find any decent videos of one fitted (just loads of miltek videos) I think your experience with a non-res has help me decide  :happy2:

It is on H&R Springs. I dont find them too firm if I'm honest but they can be a bit jarring if the road is consistently rough. I bought the car with them already fitted bit if I had chosen the springs i would have gone for the Eibach sportline kit instead

I have since fitted MK7 Front brakes (340mm), they are a nice improvement over stock and have plenty of stopping power.

Yeah I bought the silencer afterwards, it was just too boomy and droney without it. Very happy with the resonated version.

It looks a little different these days. Earned a reward from OZ as part of their dealer network.
