Standard wheel bolts size?
« on: December 22, 2016, 06:25:52 pm »
I need to get some spacers as new wheels will be on soon. At a guess 8 or 10mm

What size width and diameter are the standard bolts? It's an edition 30 with pescara wheels at the moment.

Also do they do hubcentric spacers shorter than 15mm?

M14x1.5, 28mm thread length. Radius seat for OEM wheels, 60 degree taper for most aftermarket wheels.

Add whatever width spacer you use to the thread length. You might not be able to buy the exact length bolt you want. Just use your head. Too little thread would be unsafe, too much might foul something.

H&R used to do an 8mm spacer with the spigot for the wheel - strictly speaking, you mean wheelcentric. Impossible any smaller.

Ok thanks. It's annoying that spacers are so god damn expensive. Ordered some 8mm with 35mm bolts.

No probs. Yeah I've always stuck to known brands like H&R, Eibach etc. You do pay a premium, but then you know they'll fit properly and not corrode.
