Edition 30 mini detail.
« on: January 26, 2010, 08:29:00 pm »
Hi guys just thought id post a few pics of my day in the garage yesterday! As the title says it was a mini detail, wash, de-tar, clay whole car, rinse again, lime prime, then a coat of dodo juice diamond white. (tested to destruction today through the rain!)

Products used : billberry wheel cleaner
detail brush for wheels and old wash mitt.
Autosmart : tango, tardis, clay bar, buckets and grit guards
Dodo Juice : born to be mild, supernatural wash mitt, lime prime, born slippy, supernatural drying towel,                  diamond white hard wax.

Didnt get round to a winter prep so had to make do with irregular washing, tar was quite bad so 1st a quick wash and wipe over with as tardis

After de tarring and a rinse it was on with the clay bar and then the lime prime, great smelling stuff this!

Not many pics after this just some of the side as the light was going and my dad stole my space in the driveway!

Quick dab of meguiars tyre shine and it was dark now so no pics!
Thanks for reading guys, any questions welcome! :happy2:

And heres how i wish it looked all the time!

The tracks pretty nice to drive, a short lap 1.3 miles, but quite tight and a little bumpy in places, kerbs are a lot smoother than they used to be....loads of different cambers and blind corners, if you go on you tube and type in edition 30 knockhill i believe one of the vids is my car with the previous owner at the wheel  :fighting: wish i didnt know it was mine lol. He does not a bad job to be fair, i would never take my car out though aside from driving the track most days it doesnt hold much appeal to knacker my own brakes and tyres!
