Side mirrors

Does anyone here know if i can change the mirrors to fold in more or retro fit something else which will help

You can install power folding mirrors, it's not a common thing to do and it realistically only gives about 2 more inches of clearance.

Thanks for the reply its just that they dont close in much i was thinking if it was possible to change them to how the bmw ones close upwards

In all my years on the forum I've never seen this done.

Of course it's possible but you'll need a good hand at bodywork to mould something into the existing cut out.

Frankly it's a waste of money and that £500 would be better spent elsewhere i.e.:
GFB DV+
New PCV
New Cam Follower
New headunit
Highline clocks

If you got really lucky you could get all of the above for the same money.
