Edition 30 DSG gearbox

Hi everyone, so my DSG gearbox had been getting noisy in 1st shifting to 2nd and back when no load on the pedal.  If I kept my foot on the accelerator it would shift no problem into 2nd but has been getting nosier - sound's like bearings in the box itself nothing wrong with the mechatronics, no fault lights or flashing lights never had limp mode.  Think I'm going to try and source a complete replacement, not the best time of year 

Has anyone else had this type of issue with their DSG box?

Just wanted to ask does anyone know which box will fit ok or am I limited to GTI/Edition 30 boxes and has anyone got part numbers?

Cheers for the link, don't think It will go down well this month just renewed my insurance never mind Christmas!  What gearbox code fits the edition30 not finding much info?

Have found a low mileage gearbox from an 2011 Octavia VRS - gearbox code is MSY, struggling to find if this is 100% compatible with my 07 Edition 30.

Would anyone know if this is the same ratio's and everything?
