Ive got the Forge one. I know a lot of other people on here have as well.
I love it, I've got it as short as it goes and it's class. Very little throw needed.

Ive got the S3/TTRS one fitted, bought direct for VW for about £20.

It is shorter than standard, but not a massive change, maybe 20% ish shorter. I like it, but probably not for everyone as the throw isnt as short as the forge anzd other aftermarket ones as far as I know.

Easy peasy to fit though and ignore all these youtube vids etc which say remove battery and tray...waste of time, can be done with it all in place.

Bought mine off eBay for a little over £30 - its just a copy of the original Forge design - its not perfect as you need to use a washer before bolting the shifter down otherwise it is not clamped down sufficiently.... Other than that it does the job nicely. Set mine to about 50% of the available adjustment - any more and it become 'too short' and makes the gearbox feel broken

Great little mod. Do both shifters, swap out the bushes and add a AKS bracket too.....all for a win win for a great solid feel.

Pretty sure all info is on page 1 of my build thread for all parts required.

+1

Can only see bracket bushings on their site, not an actual bracket.

I bought those AKS bracket bushes and the 42 Draft Designs bushes.
Never fitted them in the end as couldn't figure out how to fit them ...

I did fit both Forge shifters and it still feels just fine.

I'd be interested in the bushes if you still have them?

Might still fit them when I next take the car in to fit my DP.

Hope you added a washer, else the shifter won't be clamped down correctly. If you haven't, give it a tug up and down and watch it wobble
