Anyone This year had their mk5 tdi remapped @ R-tech?

Anyone had their golf tdi remapped with R-tech This year? It's just a mate of mine got his same golf, 1.9tdi, done in November £300 all in. I understand it's New Years so business out their prices up but had quite yday of £325 + vat- so £390! Just thought this was bit steep tbh and a shame because did want to go to these guys but can't afford that much tbh! I'm from Nottingham and found a few diff companies prices ranging around the £250 mark. Can anyone recommended a remap company other then R tech in nottingham/Leicester area with good results?

Stealth Racing in Southam do great GTI maps and pretty sure they do diesels as well.  Not sure how much though.

I know Rtech has/can do the 1.9TDI engines. not sure about the 20TDI. im sure they can do it, but not sure if they have the time with all the TSI/TFSI engines.

if its a stage 1 then any decent place and do it tbh

Niki does do the 2.0tdi, he did my 1.9pd and my mqb leon stfr 2.0tdi stage 1. He can do a lot more than people think.

Any Pendle Performance agents nearby? Tdi units are their speciality.

I think they don't do rolling road on the tdi's. Im sure i read that somewhere

Hi guys thanks for your replies- and to clarify yes I know they def do because I've had that £390 quote directly From R-Tech! I'm just saying that this was significantly more then a friend of mine paid just before Christmas so that's why I was asking for alternatives!

R-Tech have increased/are increasing prices across the board from what I've heard.

Still not a bad price.

You could try angel tuning as well. They did one of my old cars and have a good reputation. Also look at darkside development. £300 for a remap and they known for Deisel tuning
