Hey guys, from Leicester, and just signed up because today I picked up a MK5 Golf GTI.. I must say I'm impressed with it so far! It's been stage 1 remapped by APR and has a miltek cat back system and really does go well! I'm no stranger to golfs though, I'll list my previous cars in order of ownership!
- mk2 Golf 1.6 driver
- mk2 Golf G60 (stage 4)
- mk3 Golf GTI 2.0 16v
- mk3 Golf 1.4 Ryder
- mk2 Golf GTI 1.8 8v
- mk4 Golf GTI 1.8T 20v (mapped)
And now I have the mk5!
I used to go to all the VW shows back in the day, went to the second ever Edition 38 and everyone after up to about 2010 maybe, GTI international, Ultimate dubs..
Planning to do a few bits to the MK5 in the future!
