K04 swap mk5 gti
« on: March 05, 2017, 12:57:08 am »
Hi probably a silly question but is there much other work involved or parts required when up grading from a k03 to a k04? Just see quiet a few k04's on eBay for Around £400-£500 just wondering if any other parts need upgrading? I.e. Fuel pump, intercooler etc?

Might want to consider a hybrid if you're going to the trouble.  They're not that expensive from BBT (Beach Buggy Turbos).  I only say that because if I went from a K03 to a K04 I would be pretty underwhelmed to be honest, although the KO4 can do a bit more when it's mapped obviously.
