Engine Noise

Right ok... new to the group as im having so much trouble finding the issue on my car :(!

I have a 55 plate Gti DSG, 104k
Was running perfect changing gear perfect etc....
let my mate have ago... and now its tapping its head off! Real loud from the top left of the engine, if looking from front of car!

I have had new parts fitted including:
Camshaft sensor
N205 valve
Oil pump + balance shafts (£££££
Oil pickup pipe

Have you checked the plugs and coil packs? One or 2 could have popped off? Sounds like it's not firing on all  4 cylinders.

Any fault codes? Or eml?

Checked all them, fault code was p000a, changed cam shaft sensor and it cleared the code and engine management went off, but noise still there! Just posted on fb the video and been told it sounds out of time and needs skipping bk a tooth? Does this sound legit haha?

I wouldn't be driving that until you find the source. Sounds internal to me. I presume when he drove it he was giving it the full monty? Happened me before with a b4 legacy. Mate drove it, dropped a valve, wrecked the engine.
