Hi Robin

I have taken some pictures sorry there not of best quality, i hope it makes it a bit clearer

....Thanks for that. It looks as if that when you want to remove the EVOMS cover for engine access, you also undo the ITG fixing at that point. I'm guessing you have an extra long screw (with the head on the inner side of the EVOMS cover.

....

Another dumb question from me:

I need to drill into the EVOMS aluminium sheet material, do I buy a special drill bit or will a 'black' one do?

I know about first applying some masking tape and drilling a small pilot hole.

Thanks  :happy2:

Saturday morning and soon off for a glue and brew at gillm's.

Depending on how long his helicopter glue needs to set/cure I'll have pics and a new thread on how to greatly improve an EVOMS engine cover later.

Success!!  :jumpmove:

Stainless steel parts magically glued (courtesy of gillm) so the EVOMS cover is now fully repaired and ready to fit.

A new thread with tips how to improve the standard EVOMS engine cover will be posted tomorrow.

^ The screw has been glued in position so it forms a fixed 'peg' and saves extremely tricky fiddling with fingers under the cover each time you want to remove/replace the engine cover.
