I didn't take any before / after measurements but yeah, it's what VWR quote.  Seems a little lower than that to me, but might just be a smoke and mirrors thing

An et51 7.5 wheel will make the car 'look' lower than a wider wheel with a lower offset, especially from a few feet away at eye level. Or at least make the wheel look like it's sat further in the arch. Parallax illusion/error.

I've just fitted VWR springs with OEM dampers and I don't think it's dropped anywhere near 30 - 35mm. I'd say its more like 15 - 20mm at most.
what are they like ride wise @Octoparrot and what did they cost you total

The more information the better @r5gtt.
The only springs I've read about that lower the minimum are driver gear springs.
But not even sure you can keep them here or even if there still available.

I may have to go with H&R but they're not cheap @200 a set. I've got a full H&R suspension kit sitting at home but because they're 25-30mm I'm not fitting them as London has the most ridiculously high speed bumps especially where I live so only want to lower to a minimum of 20mm but looking at springs they're costly  :stupid:

Great thank you @munster.
@r5gtt I'm on h&r's and live in London my self this is one of the reason I want to go for something slightly higher. I'm forever catching speed bumps and starting to drive me mad.
@CP-Performance any reviews of the st springs fitted any update would be much appreciated.
At the moment I'm leaning towards vwr springs.

I would say the ride feels firm and well damped without being harsh, crashy or jarring and body roll seems significantly reduced though how much is the springs and how much the new dampers I don't know. I personally wouldn't want any thing stiffer as  my commute is mainly B-roads. I'm really pleased with the choice I made.
