My old TDi used to have a little turbo whistle audible when the windows were down but nothing as loud as that... boost pipe leak? from video it sounds like your being persued by a police car

Yep that's exactly how it sounds like a siren in the distance. Still hear it when windows are up. Hopefully just a leak ;(

Some of them seem to whistle more than others, could be a boost leak somewhere but if it's not a leak then wouldn't worry about.

As a TDI 140 BKD owner; had 2 turbos on the engine and they both did this to varying degrees. Don't worry, just enjoy your car :)
