HPFP BANJO BOLT DELETE ACCESS QUESTION
« on: May 03, 2017, 07:04:02 pm »
I've got all the parts to do the conversion but I couldn't figure out how to get access to the nuts that connect the fuel pipes to what I think is the fuel rail underneath the inlet manifold. Is it possible without having to remove the manifold? Any help appreciated.

This isn't any help  but also have the parts for the conversion but am going to fit when cleaning my valves, but be interested to know if possible without removing the inlet.

I think if you use crows feet spanners you can do it without removing the manifold

Get a ratchet spanner, (10mm I think) then put some insulation tape on the m8 triple square bit about half way up, not very thick, then you can drop the triple square bit into the spanner and use it without having to remove anything else apart from pcv hoses I think. It's a doddle this way! Takes me about 5 minutes to get the hpfp off! I hope that makes sense!
