Steering control module and cruise control
« on: May 05, 2017, 09:06:46 pm »
Just want to make sure these are the right parts for my mk5 mfsw retrofit and going to do cruise control as well.

Will this stalk work and is it all that is required?

And is this the right steering control module?

You'll need a cable to run from steering wheel module to the blue connector in the engine and coding. Guessing you have this bit covered.

Think this will work with a mk5 steering wheel as long the steering wheel module will support Multi function steering wheel buttons etc etc.

No that swcm is only a midline so will not work with mfsw, you need a highline module please cross reference the link below or just buy the cheapest ch module you can find off ebay or aliexpres which will save you the hassle of looking around, this ch module works for mk5 and mk6 wheel and costs about 40 quid

Also pretty sure Cruise stalk A didn't have the cancel switch, version F for mk5 wheel could be found cheap, G for mk5 and mk6 wheel.

So this kit should work? https://www.aliexpress.com/item/MTF-Multifunction-Steering-Wheel-Module-1K0953549CH-Airbag-cable-5K0971584C-Cruise-Control-1K0953513G-For-Golf-6-Jetta/32385568268.html?spm=2114.01010208.3.42.d5SvVZ&ws_ab_test=searchweb0_0,searchweb201602_1_10152_10065_10151_10130_10068_436_10136_10137_10157_10060_10138_10155_10062_10156_10154_10056_10055_10054_10059_10099_10103_10102_10096_10147_10052_10053_10107_10050_10142_10051_10084_10083_10080_10082_10081_10110_10111_10112_10113_10114_10179_10181_10037_10183_10182_10185_10184_10078_10079_10073_10070_10123-10102,searchweb201603_2,ppcSwitch_5&btsid=123c7973-cd46-48b3-9cd1-a659fd7335fb&algo_expid=9aeefb8f-92e4-4da1-9f0a-bdb3a4c854c8-5&algo_pvid=9aeefb8f-92e4-4da1-9f0a-bdb3a4c854c8

Also does that list mean pretty much that any revisions of it from CH and newer would work up to CK?
