TDI MK6 Glow plugs and

Hi there

Can anyone help?

I have the following problems with my 2010 VW Golf TDI 2.0
1.)Glow plug system warning lamp / diesel electronic engine management Flashing. It flashes the entire drive some days and then some days it flashes on/off at very random times.

2.) Exhaust emission warning lamp (OBD) - Exhaust system fault. Warning light is always on.

It's getting very frustrating to dive as it doesnt let me put my foot down at all and stops any power being used. Any help or suggestions would be very much appreciated. Thank you .

Sounds as if the plugs and sensors are failing or dirty. Do you do long or short journeys?

First instance try some full diesel injection fuel system cleaner, see if that at least helps the exhaust. Also, try seeing if your manual tells you about a DPF choice, or Google what you need to do to engage it.
