First of all the sender will need to match the scale of your gauge. Most gauges will come with a suitable sensor if its a digital one

Secondly you need a way of plumbing it in to the engine. There isn't simply a spare hole to just screw that 1/8 NPT fitting in to. You'll need a T or Y fitting to tap in to the oil pressure switch location, and be sure to check what thread the car * standard pressure switch uses as it may not be 1/8 NPT.

You need something that can 'T' in to the oil pressure switch.. What you've linked won't work.... From memory the car side is M10 x 1mm so you will need something like this: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Remote-Oil-Pressure-Gauge-T-Piece-M10x1-0-VW-Audi-Seat-Skoda-Etc-095-5-/282498230187?hash=item41c634e7ab:g:MjkAAOSwxg5XxZQz

But you will need to check the threads are correct

Thanks mate, didn't think it would be this difficult and I'm sure I'll have to tap a hole into the sump for this?.

Is it worth having the oil pressure gauge?

You can't tap in to the sump for oil pressure

You don't need to drill anything, you just need access to the oil pressure which is done by going through the oil pressure switch location.

Having done this before, I'd say it's not worth the agro!  But if you want to do it, it is indeed M10x1 fittings as Dan said.

This might be slightly easier @r5gtt

Thanks Dan, is it worth doing to keep an eye on pressure?. Need something to fill the third pod hole lol

looked at the location of the pressure switch and it doesn't look like a 5 minute job that's for sure

nope never done this before but as above I wanted to fill in the void and also is it worth doing?

Thanks
