So I guess the copy of v15 maps I have is corrupt.
Thought outdated firmware could be issue.ive no maps now !!

That.

People ARE helpful on here.......but in order to provide this service - DVD R DLs have to be purchased, hours sat a computer burning them, buying bend proof packaging materials, posting them out at lunchtimes etc.   So because you're not prepared to spend £15, you expect others to do all that for you, for free?  Doesn't work that way.

I've bought one....

Think I've saved more than a few people good money on information
Learnt the hard way from spending money on bits & pieces
ABS pumps, pretty know all there is on them now - revisions, compatibility and wiring differences
door controllers, climatronic panel upgrades with info, radio upgrades - spent time doing pdf diagrams (now deleted)
Plus loads more useful info that & contacts that is probably useful.
Research, time, experiments... all costs money and headaches.... no matter,  live and learn, live and learn!

Hi, just been reading this post and thought it's the right place to ask where to get a working map update from ? I bought a disc from someone I've had discs from before for a Mitsubishi a few years ago ( which worked) . After putting the disc in I got a message saying disc was not recognised, so I bought another disc to update the software version to 5238, which loaded no problem, I then tried the maps again, but still not recognised ! The disc itself looks like a jvc, so not the best . The trouble is now I have lost all my music and existing maps on the hard drive. Can anyone point me in the right direction, any help would be greatly appreciated  :happy2:

I get an CD/DVD error message, like it's not been recognised, the unit plays CDs and DVDs and I can copy music from a SD card to HDD. The lens has been cleaned with a proper wet/dry disc.
Please help  :confused:

I've tried 3 different ones, but still no joy, I've got a chap that's going to send me a SD card,he says that will load the maps ?
